Steven Knight Media - Delaine Buses Fleet Handbook - December 2014 - 919_SKP_001
The popular Lincolnshire-based family company of Delaine Buses celebrates 125 years in the passenger-carrying business in 2015. Formed in 1890 it operated horse-drawn transport for the first 25 years, with the first motorbus joining the fleet in 1919. Today the company operates a modern low-floor fleet of 24 buses, with a further Gemini 2 already built and owned and ready to enter service in March 2015.
Our special Fleet Handbook, produced with the support of the Delaine-Smith family details the current operational fleet, the heritage fleet and also lists all motorbus vehicles that have been operated by the company. A list of routes is given as well as extensive illustrations of both the current and past fleet. There are also some photos of former vehicles which were sold to other operators following withdrawal by Delaine.
This extremely popular publication has been produced in partnership with the Lincolnshire & East Yorkshire Transport Review.
